As the sport rises in popularity, so does the demand for courts, and Padel United UK aims to open new Padel centres across the UK.
They currently have four venues in Maldon, Plymouth, Chelmsford and Bishops Stortford, and are also looking for locations for centres to be built in towns such as Manchester and Birmingham.
Challenge
Padel United UK approached Lauralu because they required canopies at all of their centres, ones that would allow members to use their padel courts all year around, through all weather conditions.
Without a canopy, the courts couldn’t be used in rain or extreme heat, limiting profits.
The size of padel courts vary from centre to centre, and each court has unique measurements, meaning that the project required a custom structure to be built bespoke.
Padel United also wanted minimal disruption to their usual services, which meant there needed to be a rapid turnaround for the construction and installation of the canopy.
