Aggreko are a global supplier of energy services, temperature control equipment, and modular and mobile power solutions. For more than 50 years, it’s been their mission to help businesses from multiple sectors, ranging from aviation to telecommunications, to improve productivity and manage their power demands. 

Challenge

Aggreko contacted Lauralu after being recommended by one of their contacts as a trusted and reliable company that could help to find a solution for their capacity issues. 

One of their main sites lacked adequate protection from the elements for their staff and products. 

They required a substantial cover to contain large equipment and to act as an overflow and pre-delivery inspection area. This needed to provide:

  • A comfortable working environment for Aggreko employees
  • A safe space where products and kits were protected from the elements

Solution 

Lauralu were able to solve the issue by constructing a 13 x 15 x H5 canopy, creating a covered working environment with outdoor protection. This provided an additional 97 sqm of workshop space with efficient access and egress for Aggreko staff. 

It’s the perfect hybrid between indoors and outdoors – an ideal space for Aggreko’s team to work when moving products around.
